Jeff Thayer, President at JM Thayer Consultants, is a seasoned leader with more than 40 years of experience in the crop protection industry. Throughout his career he has held executive-level positions at Farmers Business Network, Willowood USA, and Helena Industries. As a vice president of operations and procurement he traveled extensively across China and India, successfully negotiating multi-million-dollar supply agreements that have driven business growth and innovation.
Harmut van Lengerich, Senior Advisor, Chairman, and Board Member, is an agricultural economist with more than 30 years of experience in global strategic and operational roles. He currently serves in multiple senior positions, including Senior Advisor to Boston Consulting Group’s global agriculture practice; Chairman of the Board for Moa Oxford, UK, herbicide discovery; Chairman of the Strategy Board for Aphea.Bio, working on microbial product profiling and partnership strategies; Senior Strategy Consultant to ElicitPlant and Agryco in France; and on the Scientific Advisory Panel for Genomines in France. From 2018 to 2023 he was Senior Vice President and Head of Crop Protection Asset Management for Bayer CropScience.
Paul Zorner, PhD, President of BleuJaune Advisors, has focused his career on bringing innovation of agriculture to increase crop genetic diversity and productivity, improve the nutritional content of food, and through more productive agricultural systems increase the economic stability of rural agricultural communities. He is co-founder of two companies spun out of university research programs and serves on the advisory boards of several private companies and university programs.
