Verdelis Investments is pleased to add to its growing list of portfolio companies the tech startup Vectigo, an in-road communications network (ICN) delivering real-time traffic and environmental data.
Vectigo augments Verdelis’s ag-tech-focused portfolio with a mission of enhancing road safety and efficiency by “bringing roads online” through real-time data, AI-driven innovation, and advanced in-road, solar-powered IoT communication technology.
“While outside of our core focus area of agriculture, Vectigo is consistent with Verdelis’s overarching strategy of investing in emerging companies that are keenly focused on providing real-world IoT and data solutions,” said Bob Trogele, PhD, CEO of Verdelis Invesments. “Vectigo is a great addition to our expanding roster of portfolio companies.”
Eric Morehouse, Founder at AiPi Solutions, a Select Collaborator with Verdelis Investments, was instrumental in evaluating the strong intangibles that Vectigo brings to the Verdelis portfolio, Trogele noted.
