Ag-tech entrepreneur Michael Ott, founding CEO and board member of Rantizo, the largest drone spraying company in the U.S., has joined Verdelis Investments‘ growing stable of Affliate Consultants.
Michael is currently Founding Partner of SkyHaven Group, an AI-driven consulting group focused on agriculture; and CEO of RNAWay, which delivers RNA to plants. A serial entrepreneur in agriculture technology, Michael also was founding CEO of Cquesta, which uses gene editing to modify crop roots in order to help plants tolerate drought stress.
Previously Michael worked in corporate venture capital backed by Monsanto, Novozymes, and Bunge where he invented a patented technology that delivers a tiny amount of nitrogen to a rice seed as it grows. He is an author on five patent applications and has raised over $185 million in investments over the course of his career. He was named PrecisionAg 2021 Entrepreneur of the Year by Meister Media Worldwide.
