In late April 2026, EcoPhage, a leader in the development and commercialization of sustainable phage-based biopesticides for bacterial plant diseases, announced the submission of its product EcoStraw® to the U.S. EPA for regulatory approval. EcoStraw is designed to control the plant disease Angular Leaf Spot in strawberries through a targeted, foliar-applied, preventative solution. EcoStraw marks the company’s fourth product submission to the EPA.
